What AgiBot does
AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics), founded in Shanghai in 2023 by former Huawei engineers Deng Taihua and Peng Zhihui, designs a broad line of humanoid robots (A, X and G series), quadrupeds and robotic hands, alongside the open-source AGIBOT World dataset and its Genie Studio development platform for embodied AI. The company says it became the world's largest humanoid-robot producer by shipment volume in 2025, delivering more than 5,100 units - about 39% of the global market - and rolled out its 10,000th robot in March 2026; it is now pursuing a Hong Kong IPO. SCMP reports Tencent joined AgiBot's Series B round, announced March 24 2025, alongside Lanchi Ventures, Longcheer Technology and Zhuhai Huafa Group, lifting its valuation to about RMB 15 billion.
