What Lingverse does
Lingverse builds iKairos, a modular AI device with a detachable circular 'Neural Core' that can be worn as a pendant or docked into a desktop robot base, designed to learn a user's routines, preferences and surroundings over time. The device runs on the company's own LifeOS, which it calls an 'ensouled AI operating system' that carries a user's context across the wearable and desktop form factors. Lingverse says it built in privacy safeguards including a manual mute button, indicator light and physical camera shutter. The company, founded by ex-Jibo investor and Microsoft Research/Baidu alum Jiawei Gu, unveiled LifeOS and iKairos publicly at IFA 2026 in Berlin, with preorders on a subscription tier planned for Q3 2026.
