What Skin Analytics does
Skin Analytics makes DERM, a CE Class III-marked AI medical device that analyses photos of skin lesions to rule out cancer and triage patients before they see a dermatologist. The London company says DERM has assessed more than 165,000 patients and found over 15,500 cancers since launch, mainly through partnerships with NHS trusts and integrated care boards in England, plus insurer Bupa. Skin Analytics has also launched DERM Zero, a version it says works from a standard smartphone. It plans to use its new funding to expand the technology internationally.
