What Neural Concept does
Neural Concept builds an AI-driven engineering platform that uses deep learning to accelerate computational fluid dynamics, structural, and thermal simulation of physical products. Engineering teams at automotive, aerospace, energy, and defense companies use it to iterate faster on 3D CAD designs than with traditional simulation software. The company says its platform integrates with existing CAD tools (CATIA, NX, Solidworks) and simulation software (Ansys, Abaqus, Fluent, StarCCM+), and can be delivered as SaaS or deployed in a customer's private cloud. Neural Concept was spun out of EPFL's Computer Vision Laboratory in Lausanne, Switzerland, and lists Nvidia and Microsoft as technology partners on its site. EU-Startups reports customers including GM, Subaru, Williams Racing, Airbus, Safran, and GE Renewable Energy.
